This filter features recessed mains safety sockets that are perfectly suited to plug pack adaptors. Each socket is spaced apart so that plug packs can be used in every socket if required (this is near impossible with conventional power boards). When a standard power board is mounted vertically, plug packs can sometimes work themselves free over time. The recessed sockets on this board prevent that from happening and, of course, from making potentially dangerous contact due to partially exposed mains connectors. The board also features telephone line filtering for modems/faxes, and separate LED surge and power indicators. Each mains socket is individually switched with illuminated rocker switches for quick reference, eliminating the annoyance of having to unplug an item that doesn't have it's own mains switch, such as plug pack-powered multimedia speakers, for example. Naturally, the mains filter includes overload protection as well as a circuit breaker.
