Your Selected Office Supplies

Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to purchases made from Easy Office Supplies (ABN 16 161 691 238) through our website, by telephone, email, quotation, or any other method we accept. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Effective date: 9 September 2026

Orders & Products

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, or warranty that can’t lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law.

1. Definitions & related policies
Customer, you and your
mean the person or business placing an order. Goods means products we supply, including compatible ink or toner cartridges. Services means delivery, assembly, installation, or related services we agree to provide.

Our Returns Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy, and Printer Warranty Statement form part of these Terms where they apply to an order. The version published at the time you order applies. Where a policy addresses the same subject more specifically than these Terms, the policy prevails to the extent of the inconsistency — and the ACL and other applicable law prevail over everything.

2. Orders & contract formation
An order is an offer by you to purchase. We may accept or decline it in whole or part — a contract only forms when we confirm acceptance, dispatch the Goods, or otherwise notify you we’ve accepted. An automated order acknowledgement or payment receipt is not itself acceptance.

We may decline an order we reasonably believe we can’t supply, that has a genuine pricing or product error, or that appears fraudulent or unlawful. If we don’t accept an order after taking payment, we’ll notify you and promptly refund it. Any quantity limits we apply will be reasonable and won’t be used to avoid obligations on an order we’ve already accepted.

3. Product information, availability & substitutions

We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, specifications, images, prices, and availability accurate — images are illustrative only, and minor packaging or presentation differences that don’t materially affect the Goods aren’t a failure to supply. Stock status and delivery timeframes are estimates unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

If a material supply delay or unavailability arises after we accept your order, we’ll contact you with options — waiting, an agreed substitute, or cancellation and refund. We won’t substitute a materially different product without your consent.

Prices, GST, Payment & Quotations

Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate. Before you submit an online order or accept a quotation, we’ll clearly disclose GST and the total payable, including any delivery or service charges. A custom freight or service quotation must be accepted before that charge is incurred.

We may correct a genuine pricing, typographical, or product-information error before accepting an order, but won’t increase an accepted order’s price without your agreement – except where you request a change or accept a separately quoted charge.

Payment is made using an available payment method, unless we’ve agreed written trade-credit terms with you. Approved trade-account invoices are payable by the due date on the invoice or credit agreement. We may recover reasonable costs of collecting overdue amounts, without limiting your rights under the ACL.

Delivery, Collection, Risk & Cancellations

5. Delivery, collection & risk
Our Shipping and Delivery Policy covers delivery options, estimates, freight and bulky-item charges, assembly, regional and remote delivery, Authority to Leave, custom freight quotations, and Click and Collect.

We’ll make reasonable efforts to deliver within any stated timeframe or, if none is stated, within a reasonable time – delivery estimates aren’t guaranteed dates. If a delay occurs, we’ll provide updates and work with you on a solution. We won’t take payment for Goods we know, or ought reasonably to know, we can’t supply by the promised or a reasonable time.

You must provide a correct delivery address and reasonable instructions. With Authority to Leave, risk passes to you when the Goods are left in accordance with your instructions (subject to the ACL and any rights against a carrier). If you collect Goods, risk passes when they’re handed to you or your representative; title passes once we receive payment in full.

6. Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible to cancel an order. Whether cancellation is available depends on whether the order has been accepted, dispatched, customised, specially ordered, or committed to a supplier. Any cancellation charge will only apply if clearly disclosed or separately agreed, reasonable, and lawful. This is about cancellation for convenience — it doesn’t limit your ACL rights where we fail to supply as required.

Returns, Faulty Goods & Warranty Coverage

7. Returns, faulty goods & the ACL
Our Returns Policy sets out how to request a return, including proof of purchase and RA details, in addition to your statutory rights.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. For a failure that isn’t major, you’re entitled to have goods repaired or replaced.

For a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement, subject to the ACL; for a minor failure, we may repair within a reasonable time or provide another lawful remedy — we may assess the product first. We deal with your ACL claim directly as the supplier; you don’t need to go to the manufacturer. A valid ACL remedy doesn’t require original packaging, though we may ask for reasonable proof of purchase. If assessment finds no fault, we’ll discuss any reasonable inspection or collection cost with you first, where the law permits.

Returning an electronic product for assessment or repair? Please back up your data first — it may be lost during testing, repair, or reinstallation. This doesn’t limit your ACL rights.

8. Change-of-mind returns
Change-of-mind returns are a voluntary benefit, separate from faulty Goods or ACL rights. Subject to the Returns Policy, we may offer an exchange or store credit where you request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. Goods must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging, and resalable.

Not eligible for change-of-mind return unless the law requires otherwise:

  • Computer hardware and IT consumables, including ink and toner cartridges, unless the original packaging is completely sealed and unopened
  • Food and beverage consumables
  • Gift cards and vouchers
  • Custom-made, personalised, or special-order items

Restocking fee: up to 25% may apply to an approved change-of-mind return, where reasonable, to cover admin and handling. We’ll disclose the exact fee when we approve the return and deduct it from your refund or store credit. We never charge this on a valid ACL remedy. Please contact us for an RA number before sending anything back.

9. Compatible cartridges & voluntary printer warranty
Using an Easy Office Supplies compatible ink or toner cartridge doesn’t, by itself, void a printer manufacturer’s statutory warranty — your ACL rights apply independently of any manufacturer warranty or our own voluntary coverage.

Our Printer Warranty Statement describes our additional voluntary coverage for a printer fault proven, by written technical assessment, to be directly caused by an Easy Office Supplies compatible cartridge or toner — subject to proof of purchase, the printer remaining within its original OEM warranty period, normal unmodified use, and the exclusive-use condition in that policy. This voluntary coverage adds to, and never limits, your ACL rights.

Services, Website Use & Intellectual Property

10. Services, including furniture assembly
Where we provide assembly, installation, delivery, or other Services, we’ll exercise due care and skill and comply with applicable consumer guarantees. Availability, pricing, exclusions, and delivery-area limits are set out in our Shipping and Delivery Policy or a separate quotation.

You must provide safe, reasonable, lawful access to the premises. If access is unavailable or unsafe, we’ll discuss any extra cost, rescheduling, or cancellation with you before proceeding — none of this limits your rights where Services fail to meet the ACL.

12. Website use, IP & third-party links
You may use our website for lawful personal or business purchasing. You must not interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, use automated means that burden the site, upload harmful code, or use the site fraudulently or unlawfully.

Website content is owned by or licensed to us and protected by IP law. You may view, print, and save it for personal or internal business use connected with purchasing from us, but not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit it without our written permission, except as permitted by law.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only and aren’t an endorsement — their own terms and privacy policy apply.

Privacy, Liability & General Terms

11. Privacy & electronic communications
We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law. Placing an order means you agree we may use your information to process payment, fulfil and deliver the order, provide support, manage our business, and meet legal obligations.

We only send marketing where the law permits — you can unsubscribe anytime via the unsubscribe link, account preferences, or by contacting us. Transactional messages about your order or account aren’t marketing. You agree we may send notices electronically to the contact details you provide, and it’s your responsibility to keep them current.

13. Liability & events outside our control
Nothing here excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-excludable consumer guarantee, statutory right, or liability. Where Goods or Services aren’t of a kind ordinarily bought for personal or household use, and it’s fair and reasonable, our liability for a guarantee failure is limited, at our option, to replacement, repair, or the cost of either (Goods) or supplying the Service again or its cost (Services).

We’re not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — carrier or supplier disruption, natural disaster, industrial action, government restriction, or utility/telco failure. We’ll take reasonable steps to notify you, limit the impact, and offer a solution, without affecting your non-excludable rights.

14-15. Changes to these Terms, governing law & disputes
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version — updates apply to orders placed after the new effective date and won’t retrospectively change an order we’ve already accepted, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia; the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts, without preventing a consumer from relying on a mandatory law or forum that applies to them. Please contact us first with any concern so we can resolve it fairly — you may also have the right to contact a consumer-protection agency or tribunal.
